MarketingProj (Marketing Project)

A MarketingProj is an organizational grouping entity that bundles articles and product groups under a common marketing initiative, product line, or trading season. In the F4M context, a marketing project can represent anything from a specific sales campaign and its associated product portfolio to a full commodity season (e.g. "Grain Marketing 2024/25") that acts as the top-level container for all contracts and stock movements within that period.

Marketing projects provide a reporting and filtering dimension that sits above individual product groups and articles. They allow business users to analyze all activity related to a campaign or season in one consolidated view — total contracted volumes, open positions, invoiced values, and fulfillment rates — without manually selecting individual product categories. For integration with external systems such as commodity exchanges, subsidy reporting platforms, or ERP environments, the marketing project code often maps directly to the campaign or reference period required by the external system.
